The song 'Jai Shri Ram' from Akshay Kumar's upcoming film 'Ram Setu' has been released. Composed and sung by Vikram Montrose, the song is a high-energy devotional song with lyrics by Shekhar Astitva, which harmonizes with the promotional material of the film that has been released so far. The lyrics of the song have also been written keeping in mind the image of Lord Rama. This song is no less than a treat for Ram devotees on this Diwali.

The video of the song is more or less the same scenes that we saw in the trailer. Along with Akshay, the film also stars Satya Dev, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrat Bharucha, Nasir, Pravesh Rana and Jennifer Piccinato. The film is directed by The Zoya Factor and Tere Bin Laden fame Abhishek Sharma. Ram Setu is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 25.

Box office clash

The film will clash with Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh starrer 'Thank God'. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh ​​had earlier suggested that despite the clash, both the films are expected to get a strong opening at the box office. He said, “Both Ajay and Akshay are A-listers and well established stars who have huge fan following. So I feel the film should get a good start because of Diwali, but ultimately it will all depend on the content."

Trade expert Girish Johar had predicted that Ram Setu could take an opening in the range of Rs 16-18 crore. Film distributor Akshay Rathi told Indian Espress, “Diwali can easily accommodate two superstar films. Apart from this, this is a time when medium and small scale films also entice the audience. This is a time when people go out with their friends and family in a big way and we should give them a choice of many movies to choose from. So, there has to be something for people of all demographics."
